It's SHOW Week!

DON’T MISS THIS HOLIDAY’S CHILDREN’S SHOW AT THE CAPE TOWN SCIENCE CENTRE!

JOIN US FOR SOME SCIENCE-THEATRE FUN!

MEET THE CAST

CANDICE VAN LITSENBORGH – “ZOIG”
Candice van Litsenborgh acts and sings and does something that could be regarded as comedy dancing.
As a result of these skills she performs in lots of musicals like Evita and The Little Mermaid, rather than getting a serious job, like being a scientist. Her next musical is Sunset Boulevard.
Favourite food:  Dessert
Dream holiday destination: Aywhere, as long as there is a proper shower
Dream Theatre role:  All of them!
Living Green tip:  Don't be lazy and think someone else will save the planet while you do what you
like. It's easy to educate yourself and make better choices. There's no excuse not to do better.
If I met an alien scientist… :   I’d really hope I wasn't about to be part of a nasty experiment and I'd really hope he/she/it could speak and understand English or at least play charades.

NIKKI TURNER – “BEBOT”
Nikki Turner graduated from Stellenbosch University with an Honours Degree in Drama (despite strong parental advice to go into ANY other field)
Since then she has appeared in numerous theatre shows, done some TV commercials and only occasionally had to resort to waitressing to get by.
Her passion has always been children's theatre and after playing roles as diverse as Peter the Clever Pig and Red Riding Hood she is extremely excited to be testing herself by playing a Being from Outer Space.
Favourite food: Impossible to choose between Marcel's English Toffee frozen yogurt and a rare fillet
steak with pepper sauce? May I have both please? With a side order of chips!
Dream holiday destination: Anywhere with a kid's club so I can get 10 minutes on a sun lounger with my
book.
Dream Theatre Role:  Roxy in Chicago
Living GREEN tip: Teach your children from as young as possible to be eco conscious. My 4 year old is a mini eco warrior who picks up litter everywhere she goes.
If I met an alien scientist… :  To be honest.....I’d probably scream and run away!

GRANT JACOBS – BEN
Grant Jacobs, actor, vocalist and writer is a new face to Cape Town. This means no one knows him. Before being invisible he has been involved with various shows that have travelled the country including his award winning One-man show PaperBoy (Coming to a theatre near you) For now Grant enjoys meeting aliens in his bedroom.
Favourite food: Pasta! Especially when it is the colourful pasta!
Dream holiday destination: Paris. And I got to go there this year! Winning!
Dream Theatre Role: Simba from The Lion King. It’s my childhood dream to play this character.
Living GREEN tip: Just RECYCLE. You will live long and prosper.
If I met an alien scientist… : I would RUN…far away!!
